Privacy Policy
What we hold is what you gave us to get coffee delivered: a name, an address, and an email. The roasting side of this business generates far more records than the customer side does.
Cookies
We set a cookie so the banner stays dismissed and use aggregate counts to see which roast notes get read. That is the extent of it — no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking.
Your data
Write to us and we will send back everything attached to your name — order history, grind preference, list membership — or delete it. We do not ask you to justify the request.

Tuesday roasting, and what that needs
We roast once a week, on Tuesdays, and ship from Wednesday. To do that we need your delivery address, your contact details, and — for subscriptions — a schedule. Payment runs through our provider and we never hold card details ourselves.
Grind preferences
If you tell us your brew method we record it so the grind is right next time. That is the whole purpose of the note. Ask and we will delete it.
Green coffee sourcing
Contract terms with importers and producers are commercially confidential. We publish origin, farm, and process on every bag, because that is what a drinker needs to know; we do not publish what we paid.
Emails
The roast list goes only to people who signed up for it. It announces what came off the roaster and nothing else. Unsubscribing is one click and is immediate.
Retention
Order records follow the statutory bookkeeping period. Preference notes last as long as your account does. Write to hello@mossblendpathyx.com about your data.
Children
Coffee orders come from adults. We hold no records on anyone under fifteen and would delete any we found.

Complaints
If a bag arrived stale, crushed, or simply not what the notes described, tell us — the roast log is right there and we can usually work out what happened. Otherwise write to the address above and you will get a reply within two weeks. You may also raise a matter with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
Changes to this policy
Changes to the roasting schedule or the subscription mechanics get reflected here, with the date noted at the foot of the page rather than buried in a changelog nobody reads. Last revised 27 July 2026.
Cupping sessions
We run open cuppings a few times a year. Attendees give a name and an email to book a seat, and both are deleted after the session unless the person asked to stay on the roast list.
Scoresheets from a cupping record the coffee, not the taster. We keep them because they feed into buying decisions; they carry no names.
Access and deletion
Ask and we will tell you what is on file, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in — an email naming what you want is enough, and we do not ask why.
We reply within two weeks. If the request comes from an address we do not recognise, we will ask one verifying question before acting, which is the only reason a request would take longer.
Nothing here is charged for.
Where the data lives
Orders sit with our shop platform and payment provider, each under their own published terms. On our side, two people have access and neither of them exports the list anywhere.
There is no analytics account tied to individual visitors and no customer database on a laptop.
